Listening and responding to children’s voices is central to the quality of immediate experiences as well as influencing continued participation.
Using student voice strategies in physical education lessons can help amplify children’s voices through making choices, sharing their perspectives, and directing and taking responsibility for their learning.
This resource provides a step-by-step incremental approach to using student voice in primary PE based on the experiences of primary teachers. It was developed by the VOICE-PE project team in collaboration with the IPPEA.
The project was funded by an Irish Research Council New Foundations Grant 2021-22.
